Folder portal become empty whenever I use Remote Desktop even on the computer where Fences is installed

Hi

I have raised this issue before but never got a fix.

I am using Windows 10, 64 Bit on a ThinkPad P50, with 64GB RAM.

I have stored all my shortcuts on drive C: in various folders in my user's folder. No shortcut access to any network folder. Then I have all these folders on the desktop as folder portals.

The problem is whenever I access my laptop using Remote Desktop or run Remote Desktop on my laptop, most of these folders become empty. So almost 80% of the time, I double-click this portal to open that folder to use my shortcut.

Is there a solution to this problem? At least give us the possibility to restart Fences. The only solution is to restart the computer which is very hard because I am running a few VMs on my primary machine and shutting them down is a pain, and so time consuming .

Please help me and make this excellent product usable for me.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I gather that last line is just you saying its a real problem for you as you use those links a lot?

Let's just start with remoting from another PC to this LT...

When you RDP to it and you see this issue, if you restart WinExp, does that resolve it?
