Start11 Win 10 Pro issue with left click restart

I installed Statr11 and Fences 4 on a win 10 pro computer.  Everything is working fine EXCEPT for trying to restart using the left click on the start11 icon. 

Clicking on the restart button at the bottom of the list causes the screen and mouse to freeze for a few seconds, then closes the start11 menu, then displays the regular desktop for a few seconds, then simply returns to the start11 and fences desktop.

Right clicking on the start11 button then selecting restart at the bottom of that menu works fine. 

Turning off Start11, and left clicking the start menu then choosing the restart works fine.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need full Windows 10 version numbers. Use Winver.exe. Start11 version number too please. Also, if you disable Start11 and  use the default Windows 10 Start menu restart button. Does it work as intended?

Stat11 is ver 1.47

Win 10 Pro Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045

The left click works fine when strart11 is turned off.  The problem exists only when start11 is active.

Please try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important) after uninstall finished. Re-download the latest version again. Install it. Reboot again. Retest and report back.

when I uninstall will I lose all the settings?  BTW - I stopped using Start11 because of this issue, uninstalled it, then tried Nexus Extreme.  When I decided to uninstall Nexus Extreme and return to stat11 (in anticipation of moving to Win 11 soon) I reinstalled Start 11 and the issue repeated itself.

well...let's say i did that and the problem is cured, then what?  Am i supposed to stop using my productivity programs?  I have dozens of programs used for my law practice.  I can't spend weeks experimenting with each program. 

However, I notice that each time I deleted statr11 it caused a severe hiccup in my dragon pro dictation program, requiring re-installation of the user profile.  I have a similar computer running the same Win 10 pro version but without Dragon Pro dictate and it does not have the problem.  If I get a chance I'll install Dragon on that computer to see if the conflict is with dragon or one of the dragon supplemental programs.

This wouldn't be the first time dragon caused unexpected behavior.  For example, I discovered this summer that Dragon cause the EAPlay Anti-cheat program to think there is a cheating program installed.  (That's why the second computer doesn't have Dragon on it now - so I could use the EAPlay program.
