Program name "bubbles" not allways aligned with quicklaunch icons in Start 11 taskbar

Hello from France (sorry for my not so good english)
My new laptop has W11, Start 11 and Windowblinds 11 installed. Screen is 4K with an Intel IRIS Xe graphic board.
I just noticed a little bug when hovering over the icons in the taskbar. (not sure if it came with the latest software update or not)
My program shortcuts in the taskbar are centered in the taskbar.
When I hover over the icon of a CLOSED program, the name of this program appears in a "bubble" just above the icon like here :

But when I hover over the icon of an OPEN program, the "bubble" appears toward the left, (it seems like as if the task bar icons where aligned to the left), like here :


This behaviour is allways reproductible.

Another strange thing that is maybe linked with this problem : when in the windows parameters I am in the section where I can choose the taskbar alignment :

When I click on "Gauche" to change it to  "Center" it shows "Center" for about 1 second, and then goes back to "Gauche".
No possibility to remain on the "Center" choose...

Not a big issue for me, but well...

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need your full Windows 11 version number. Use Winver.exe to get it. Something like this.

Also,

  • Post the Start11 and Windowblinds version numbers installed.
  • Do you have any other taskbar modification software running in the background. I am asking because, normally. When you have mouse over a taskbar button you will have something like this.

Windows11 (familly) version is : 22H2 (build 22621.1992)

Start11 version : 1.47 (when looking for a new version it says it's the last one available)

Windowblinds 11 : the "About" window shows this :

Concerning the little preview windows you speak about at the end of your answer :
they are still here but I modified the timer to let them appear, so the mouse has to be 30 seconds over an icon for that.
It's just a mod in regedit :
In "My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\ExtendedUIHoverTime" I set the value to 30000 (30 seconds)

I just did the test, when the preview appears after 30 second, IT IS at the right place above the icon of open programs.
