resolution stuck at 640x480 after update
I wish I could tell you which update, but I tend to cluster them to get them out of the way (I know, bad habit). Could be Windows, AMD or Multiplicity.
When I first installed Multiplicity I got nada. I came here and found the HDMI terminator solution. Which worked great until the latest update. Now resolution on the secondary is stuck at 640x480 (greyed out in Windows settings).
The primary and secondary are both HP laptops with AMD CPUs and graphics. The built-in display works fine. RDP works fine (except for RDP performance degradation over time, which is why I tried Multiplicity).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling AMD drivers. I tried this with and without the HDMI terminator plugged in. I tried AMD's DDU for extra cleanup. Nope. Any ideas?
(on the plus side - Multiplicity solves the weird buffering/memory leak/fragmentation/something problem I've had with RDP for years; 3.6 lets me connect to my Microsoft Dev Kit, which 3.57 didn't. I'm not even sure the Dev Kit is supported (ARM64, Windows 11), but it works now. Well, for video. No audio yet)
