Troubles

Just updated from the pop up or whatever that came on my screen.  I had to stop using Fences because it started doing weird stuff.  I liked it and only had it a few weeks where it started leaving the boxes open.  I have a lot of desktop icons so if the individual boxes or fence are open then what's the point?  So I stopped using it a couple of weeks ago.  So today I see the update being offered from the pop up or the box that just appeared on my desktop screen (I'm obviously not a tech guy) and did the install.  When it rebooted my desktop was black on both displays I have setup.  My laptop is only like 3 months old.  I9 intel CPU GEFORCE RTX NVIDIA GPU, 32 ram, 2TB hard drive.  It's no chump.  I'd love to use your product if were working properly, but most importantly, I need my desktop back.  SOS.  I little help would be greatly appreciated.
