Believe you me they were quite restrained compared with other episodes i have experienced. Perhaps some of them are actually coming round to our method of skinning. Nah.....One comment made me fall off my chair with laughter.......Where's my candy cane........

If it's the way I read it would be (every program potentially having its own custom interface), even Windowblinds may become difficult - if not impossible - to apply uniformly to all programs.

Totally agree, Carl. Or they jump on one of us Windowblinds users calling it "bloatware" and making stupid comments about the software when its patently obvious that they have never used it. There have been times when they have been extremely rude to Brad - but i am sensing a slight change of mood over there. What is quite fasinating is that there have been several times recently on the forums when one of the members has asked for some help or ideas with an area of skinning and someone has recommended a Stardock product. Now that is almost unheard of. We live in hope

And the first people are sitting there with non booting machines after applying a uxtheme patch from somewhere. How dumb can people be ??? I really would like to write to the thread about how WB users don't have to worry about MS updates, but that would get me some flaming, wouldn't it ? On the other hand, after that TGT soft incident...

I hope so.

You hope so? Not me.  I'm not looking forward to the day I can't customize the look of my computer.  But anyway, I'm sure the basic Windows UI will still be customizable, just some specific apps will have their own web-like interface.  It may not be as dramatic after all.
