Can you not tamper with the desktop effect of Windows

I think fences is a great app, but only if you don't mess with the desktop mode of Windows, specifically about desktop animation, and dragging and sorting desktop files, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, it keeps going wrong. And Windows default desktop drag file sorting is very simple, there will be a white horizontal line, release on the place. Please do your job and don't change the style of Windows.
