Start11 open Recent Items goes to "Neil's" account... I'm not Neil

Windows 11 / 22H2 || Start11 ver. 1.44

When I click the Start Button (Start11 has replaced the default Windows one), and right-click on Recent Items in the right sidebar (I've enabled Recent Items to appear there), and select Open in the popup window, an Explorer window opens with the following path: C:\Users\Neil\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent

It's empty because there is no account for "Neil" on my system, hidden or otherwise, and has never been. When I hover over Recent Items it lists the contents of the correct logged in user's recent items folder. It appears like the software developer has accidentally hard-coded their own name into the software controlling the behavior of "Open". Hi Neil! Please fix.  :-)

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please uninstall Start11, reboot immediately, download and install Start11 V1.45 Beta: https://forums.stardock.com/518875/. Reboot again. Retest and report back.

Thank you Basj... I went to download the version 1.45 Beta and found that the latest production release is version 1.45 (no longer beta) so I downloaded that and followed the process you described. The discussion thread you sent me to says to go to my downloads page and find the latest beta version, but that page it doesn't show a 1.46 beta. I don't have the Object Desktop Manager, for accessing beta versions.

Unfortunately, it is still the case that when I right-click on "Recent Items" and select "Open" the Explorer window that opens has the path:  C:\Users\Neil\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent

"Open" still points to Neil's (nonexistent) account's Recent Items folder.

When V1.45 become full release few hours ago, it no longer carry its beta tag. And there is no "V1.46" Beta released.

and

Please check if you have recent items turn "on". If its is "off" please turn it on.
