Task Bar Start Icon and other icons drooping down beneath the screen

Screenshot below shows the icon placement at the bottom of the screen. This happens when I disconnect my 2nd monitor from my laptop, which is of a lower screen resolution, but acts as the primary monitor when plugged in. Each time I disconnect or reconnect, the start icons and other icons drop lower. It resets back to normal on logout, login. v1.44.

If you try the latest 1.45 beta of Start11 we are hopeful this will be resolved for you.

Hope this is OK to reply here. I think I have the same issue. There is like a shadow box along the whole Taskbar. Sometimes it covers something I need to click on. I did not find the 1.45 beta. It says I have the latest, 1.44

Thanks

George

Thanks. Seem to fix 1 one issue with it opening Start11 Taskbar with touching that area. but it still has too much added on to the taskbar. I can't add an attachment, so See example above - gray area above taskbar. Almost double height.

Thanks

Please post some screenshots. It would help us understand your issue better. Also, include information on your Windows 11 version number. Use Winver.exe.

The yellowish area above the taskbar? Isn't that the wallpaper?

If you have not tried it yet, please uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Download the latest Start11 V1.45 (not beta, just released few hours ago), Install that version. Reboot immediately after installation finished. Retest it and report back.
