I have been using this plan for months with no problems whatsoever, as have several friends and acquaintances.

You get 500M web space, 5 gigs monthly bandwidth, 5 FTP accounts, SSH, yada yada. No banners or ads.


Only complaint I have is, the control panel is very slow sometimes. But for free I'll live with it.

I love it

I've had a website at Tripod which costs me a mere 5 bucks a month for 50megs of space for the past 5 years and love it. I also believe you can still get free space there which gets you 20 megs of space. There is also 250megs.com which is still free as far as I know. Try a "free webhosting" search and see what comes up.

The thing I like about Tripod is it's ease in moving things around, editing pages, no problems with my site not being viewable, no downtime, no banners, really nothing bad I can say about it.

One thing you have to watch out for is some free websites claim the right to use your website content any way they see fit, so be careful when looking around.
