Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.
Thanks
Basj,
Stardock Community Assistant.
Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2846)
Fences version 4.10
Do you have any icons/shortcut that link to share/network drive or folders within your desktop Fences?
Thank you,
Basj,
Stardock Community Assistant
Yes, I have a few of those.
Try, as a test, move those into a folder and reboot. Enable Fences, if it working, move those icons back into the desktop area one at a time until you found one or few that causing the issue.
Thank you,
Basj,

Moving the network links to a folder but it did not solve the problem. Following a suggestion from a colleague I changed my background from a slideshow to a single color worked an I have not had the issue since.
Hi Bill,
A have a question related to that situation, were you doing the background slideshow via Windows itself or using software like Deskscapes or WPE?
