Fences Disabled during Startup

I receive the following message about 80% of the time when I start my computer. I am using Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 64 bit

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

  1. Windows full version number. Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences version number.

Do you have any icons/shortcut that link to share/network drive or folders within your desktop Fences?

Try, as a test, move those into a folder and reboot. Enable Fences, if it working, move those icons back into the desktop area one at a time until you found one or few that causing the issue.

Moving the network links to a folder but it did not solve the problem. Following a suggestion from a colleague I changed my background from a slideshow to a single color worked an I have not had the issue since.

A have a question related to that situation, were you doing the background slideshow via Windows itself or using software like Deskscapes or WPE?
