Start 11 Toolbar Icons blink out

I've used Startdock without incident for years. Recently, however, using Start 11 v1.43, occasionally the icons on the Windows toolbar will blink out. They're still there, and if I click on them, they will be activated, but they become indistinguishable from the background color of the toolbar. Sometimes (but not always) when I click on them, they will reappear, but that means starting the app and closing it to get the icon to become visible again.  

This is what the toolbar looks like when afflicted. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Yes, my mistake. Taskbar, not toolbar. Device info:

Try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important). Download V1.43 again. Reinstall it, reboot again. Retest and report back.

I followed your instructions precisely. During the installation process it did ask me if I wanted to delete my settings. Your instructions were silent on this point, so I said no.  At the end of the reinstall, after I entered my license code, a strange thing happened:

Start11 upon reinstallI don't know if this means anything, but the only way I was able to get this to go away was to reboot (although I did not try killing the task through Task Manager). Anywhere I would click I'd just get a Windows tone for Asterisk, Default Beep, and maybe some others (Windows Background.wav). I had no immediate issues upon reboot, and was able to make some adjustments to the Start11 settings without incident.

It may take a few days to see if this solution worked as the issue does not happen all the time. I will let you know what happens.

That indeed strange. Please report back if this keep happening. Might need to do purge and reinstall steps as mention here: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
