For the last perhaps several weeks, the "pin to Start 11" function has stopped working. Also failing is the "create new group" right click function. A search of this board has not been revealing.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after, download and install the latest version again from your product account page. Reboot again after the installation finished. Retest it and report back.

FWIW: I tried this and my machine will not boot under such conditions. I suspect this is related to Intel drivers. So, this problem remains unsolved some three months later.

Sorry to hear you still having issues. Have you tried update Start11 to latest V1.45? Also, if it still don't work. Please post a video showing us the issue so we can understand it better.

I am, in fact, using v 1.45.
I can't figure out how to get the snip tool to work with start menu: It goes away when I press the windows key

That is strange. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
