Why taskbar it's so large?

I'm new in Start11 and I wanted to buy it for taskbar customization (especially for disabling grouping of tasks).

But I noticed that no matter what I set, taskbar is larger than standard. Is any way to made it smaller (height)?

Are you perhaps using a tablet PC with the taskbar in touch mode?

No, I'm using Windows on 2K monitor with 100% scaling. And "large" may be bad word. Just too big for me. I always used "small icons" on taskbar. I need really think taskbar, not big one.
