Icons slow to load in Start11

Hi Folks,

I'm noticing up to a 30 second delay for icons to show up after clicking on the Start11 menu (windows 10 mode). I use combined icons, about dozen or so sets of 20-50 icons, and typically the delay happens within the combined icons, not the top level groups in the start menu. On a Surface Pro 7+, i5, 16gb. Normally most things are pretty snappy in start 11, 

Anyone have suggestions on how to speed it up?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is the issue happen after boot up and no issue after that? Also there are icons that link to network drive or cloud?

I typically notice it after either boot up, or not logging in for a while. After a couple of minutes of the first delay, typically all other combined icons show up instantly (as normal).

Totally speculating but it's as though some icon cache is being unloaded from memory or something, or perhaps the icon database cache is rebuilding.

You on the latest build? V1.42 Beta https://forums.stardock.com/517565. Best to uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), install the latest version, reboot again. Retest and report back.
