Cannot function on Lenovo ThinkPad P16s AMD

Recently bought an Lenovo ThinkPad P16s AMD. Installing Start11 breaks Explorer.exe, as in it keeps crashing and cannot start, which makes PC unusable. If Start11 is removed, PC functionality is restored. This has been tested on two separate machines and result is the same. Is there a way to make Start11 work on my device?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download and install the latest version from link mentioned in here: https://forums.stardock.com/517565. Reboot again after the install. Retest and report back here.

I tested both the 1.4.2. beta and the 1.4.11 versions and both behave the same way as my original post describes.

Do you have Forcepoint/Websence installed in the system. Or something similar?

I don't see any application called Forcepoint or Websense. I do not know these applications but from a quick search they appear to be some endpoint security applications.

I looked through my application lists and it does not appear to have any 3rd party security applications installed. But it is a corporate device so it is possible that there are GPOs related to this. Anything specific I should look for?

I would check with your corporate IT department first, they could potentially be blocking something that might cause your issue
