Mouse over icons in tool bar not consistently popping up open windows

Since the last few updates (can be sure which update caused the problem), I can no longer consistently popup the open windows.  For example, when mousing over the chrome icon in the system tray open windows will pop up, if I move the mouse off of the icon and then move back over the chrome icon the open windows will not appear in the line above.  It is random, if I click on something else and then go back and mouse over the chrome icon the open windows will reappear.

As a follow-up I forgot to mention that my task bar is on auto hide.  The only way to deal with the problem mentioned above is to allow the task bar to recede and then bring it back up or turn off auto hide.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try this. Uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after. Download and install the latest V1.42 Beta: https://forums.stardock.com/517565. Reboot again, after the install. Retest it and report back.

Thanks

I deleted Start11 and reinstalled v1.42, turned on autohide of the taskbar on.  Then opened enough windows so that Outlook, Chrome, Edge and Word windows that were opened consolidated under individual icons.

I then moused over the chrome icon and three chrome windows popped up, while the taskbar was still up I moused over Edge, Outlook and Work and none of the open windows appeared .  I let the taskbar drop down and then moved the mouse down so that the taskbar reappeared and moused over the word icon and the windows reappeared. However, mousing over the other icons (while the taskbar was still up) did not result in the open windows appearing.

In short you have to make the taskbar go back down for the mouse over to work or shut off auto hide.  This is a fairly new development and I am not sure which update caused this bug to appear.

Please fix it - very annoying.
