Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You're referring to which Stardock Software? Start11 or Windowblinds? Which version of these software you have on? Also, we need full Windows version number. Please use Windows "Winver.exe" to get it.

Thanks

Please get the latest Start11 version, refer here: https://forums.stardock.com/517565. Try this. Uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after (important) Download and install latest version. Reboot again. Retest. If the issue still apprear. Please refer to that thread and see if other user also has report something similar as yours.

Thank you,

Do you have three or more monitors?

The 1.42 beta has fixed for that setup and may well help regardless.

I notice not all icon pinned to taskbar load when Windows loads...

This update (either Stardock or Windows) has made the Stardock product work very poorly.

Are you using the enhanced taskbar option in Start11?

That looks to be an icon cache issue.

Where is that option? I don't believe I am using it.  I am just using a stock standard install on a fully up-to-date Windows 11 PC.

I have to restart the machine to get the icon to appear.

The other issue it is doing (and this was both before and after a fresh install) is failing to search the directory.

When I type "applications" is should produce a list of relevant programs within Windows.  Coming back with blank screen.

Can I please ETA on fix?

If that option is not enabled then the taskbar icon issue is unrelated to Start11 as it would not be involved with the loading or painting of that icon.

The option is at the top of Start11 taskbar settings.

Hi Neil

Please send screenshot of where I can find that setting, and please respond to the other issue with the search option not loading any menu options.

Wait, yes I am using the Enhance option, as the one and only reason I purchased this software (on two systems) is because I want to open up and not group the windows.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Should I download the Beta (1.4.2) or the normal 1.4.11?

Definitely the beta. In this case, the beta has some bug fixes, and lots of users gave positive feedback.

It is working better now.  Still a few glitches... like when windows loads, the majority of the task bar in the centre is missing, then it suddenly appears and connects to the edges.

Anyway, thanks.
