Start 10 & 11 Won't launch Universal Apps

Start 11 v.1.4.1 and Start 10 v. 1.97.0 will not launch applications from the Universal Applications menu. When I click on an application from the Universal Applications menu the screen flashes and does a full repaint and for a brief moment, the built-in Windows 10 start menu button shows and all open applications disappear from the taskbar. After a moment the Start 10 or Start 11 button appears again but the application I tried to open has not opened.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to clarify something, you're running both Start11 and Start10 at the same time? Also can you post a video of these happening. Might help us to understand the issue better.

Sorry, what I meant was that I have tried Start 10, which I have a license for, and it was doing it then I uninstalled Start 10 and installed Start 11, and it is still doing the same thing. I have verified the behavior on two separate Windows 10 Pro 22H2. Here is a link showing that when trying to even show the Universal Applications Menu in Start 11 it causes the whole screen to refresh and the menu never displays.

First, please try this: purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I have done the Purge and reinstall with reboots as requested, and I still see the same behavior. I only tried with Start 11 today.

Do you use Dragon Naturally Speaking or similar?
