System Tray Icons

This is probably not a Start 11 issue but maybe you can help me solve it.  We recently formatted out 2 main PCs. We both use start 11.  On my PC everything is normal. On my wife's PC, the system tray opens as a rectangle with 6 icons in a single line, where normally these would be organised in 2 rows of 3 icons.  Does anyone know why this is happening and why?

It's happening because your wife's computer got updated with KB5022913, or what's known as Moment 2, probably without Start11.

It will happen to your computer as well when you update with that KB (provided you run W11), until or unless you're running Start11 1.4.11. If you're running 1.39, your systray may disappear. Your wife's computer will look better when she gets that same iteration from the download page, or Start11 prompts the update by itself. It's a well known issue which has been fixed.

And click on View Individual Downloads just below Object Desktop Manager.

So with version 1.4.11 it will return to what it was before?  Or is there a way to remove it?  This is how hers looks now.  We don't like it.

If you had Start11 before in an older iteration, and the MS update broke it, you'll see the system tray again...

The MS update causes a single row of systray icons because the new systray icons are larger. You won't get more than one row until you click the button at the left end of the systray. Then it'll grow upwards as it used to to show all the icons.
