Stange Fences Issue
A few weeks ago, I started having an issue with an installation of Fences that has been on my computer for a very long time. I haven't done anything (that I know of) and nothing has changed on the computer (again, as far as I know).
I have a Windows 10 'rotating' desktop wallpaper with a new image every couple of minutes. It's the 'Reflections' series of photos. I have a fairly large quantity of Fences windows on the desktop, set up with a high degree of transparency. Again, nothing has changed. No new fences, none removed.
But now, the individual fences are often retaining a previous image. So what is happening is that he surrounding desktop image is movng on, but the backgrounds of the fences are not. If I right click the desktop and force it to the next image, both the desktop and fences change back to being correct.
It seems as though it might be related to running other programmes. So for instance, it might be running perfectly fine with the fences backgrounds keeping up with the desktop. Then I open say Thunderbird or Chrome, and when I close again, Fences backrounds have gone awry. I understand that this might be a Windows or Nvidia driver issue, but what I'm asking is can anybody say that this could or could not be an issue with the Fences installation. Is there a way to 'repair' or reinstall Fences wihout losing all the configuration data for the fences I currently have. I would hate to hate to start again from the bottom up ...
Thanks
