start11 context menu tiles

Using Windows 10 Style start menu.

Whenever I right click a tile to open the context menu select one of the options, it freezes for several seconds and also when I try to exit the context menu by clicking away, it freezes.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately, download and install Start11, reboot immediately after the installation. Retest it and report back.

I don't see the issue on my system. Please, we need more information on your issue. Please refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1387003915/Contacting+Stardock+About+Start+Product+Issues. We need to know:

  1. System on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version numbers. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 version numbers installed.
  3. Video on the issue showing us how and when its actually freezes.

I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Is the issue happen on your system on any icons or only on icons that link externally, such as network drive, cloud drive etc?

it's any icon or anywhere on the start menu

I noticed we have very different settings, noticeably you have animations. perhaps windows and this program are fighting over the start menu or the taskbar? idk I have no technical knowledge. Can I copy all your settings?

Hello,

You mentioned animation, and I checked. I has Windows animation turned on. When I turn it off, I noticed there are some lagging when loading the context menu, especially the long menu such as colors. etc. Try check you system and see if animation was turned off. Try turn it on and see if that helps.

I would really like it if I could turn off animations though, I have to watch them in other programs as well. Can you file a bug now we know what the conflict is?
