lost desktop icons

All fences are empty and icons are gone

from Stardock Forums

I booted up my PC and all of the fences were empty except one. That one still had some icons missing. Icons not in fences are still present. This is a product killer for me. I can't afford to have to rebuild my desktop, or have to worry about backing it up. The daily snapshots do not do anything. Disabling quick hide and desktop pages also did nothing to restore the icons.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This usually happen when a system have OneDrive Desktop Sync turned on. Where OneDrive will move the desktop icons from its actually desktop folder to its own OneDrive folder. Please refer to this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/501085/
