stuck on version 1.25

from Stardock Forums

When I go the update tab its says I am at version 1.25.

when I try to update try to update star11 it says there is an update that has been found.

run the update restart the computer and open start 11 go to the update page says I am on version 1.25. 

when I check for an update a update is found. 

 

I have attempted to go to the web site and download the 1.36 .exe from the website. same problem. 

 

any help would be cool.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after. Download the latest Start11 version 1.39 (1.38 Beta) from your product account page. Install that version, reboot again immediately after the installation finish. Retest it and report back.

Did just as you suggested. Initially it says it updated to a version >1.25 then after restart reverts to 1.25 in the about tab.

Currently Start11 is at V1.43. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to download the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
