Task bar icon issues

When I hover over an application icon on the task bar, it is being incorrectly identified. For example, right now, when I move the mouse over the Outlook icon, it is identified as Excel and if I want to access one of my background spreadsheets, I have to do so from the outlook icon.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please let us know some information on your system.

  1. You are having issue with Fences or Start10/11?
  2. Can I know you on which version of that software you're having issue with?
  3. You on Windows 7, 8,10 or 11? Also, need it full version number. Please use Winver.exe to get that number.
  4. Your screen setup. Resolution, scaling factor (100%,125%,200% etc)
  5. Details on your taskbar setup. such as Enhance mode on/off, center aligned, taskbar size etc..
