Fences 4 doesn't work in Windows 11 21H2

Hello,

I installed Fences on my Windows 11 21H2 Virtual Machine located on Azure Cloud.
Machine has Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8370C CPU @ 2.80GHz   2.79 GHz and 16GB RAM

I tryed to install Fences 4 several times, I run a Purge Bat file but Fences doesn't work.

It start correctly but the frames are not created on the desktop, and the right mouse click ignore to Enable Fence whe I click over.
I tryed to Perform automatic layout but nothing appear.

I don't know how to do for working with it.

Help me please.

Hello Basj,

what I mean with "Virtual Machine located on Azure Cloud" is that I'm using Fences on a Windows 11 Virtual Machine  not in a phisical Computer.

Virtual Machine is located in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.

Thank you

Erik

Yes, I know Virtual Machine, I have few Windows OS setup with it. But its local setups. No issue on that. Not sure about "Azure cloud" part. Anyway, Support could give you a better answer on your question.

Thank you,

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Is Fences activated?

Yes I try with Fences activated and also with Trial version.

Then, how last resort I updated windows 11 to 22H2 release and when I restarted the machine miraculously fences appeared.
I believed that the problem was related with release 21H2.

Anyway thank you for your support.

I would like to but I have no environment to test in for your case.

That said, I would start by looking in Event Viewer and seeing if Fences is crashing.
