Audio Sharing Issues on Windows 11

Hello, I am having an issue where my audio is not shared unless I select "Allow this machine to be unmuted" in which case audio plays from the secondary computers speakers as well as through the primary computer. I have already tried restarting the computers, disabling jack detection, using IP rather than host name, disabling firewalls and this is all occurring on 2 computers that have only had the operating systems installed in the past week. I am also seeing an issue where when I try to unmute the secondary it just toggles mute on and off constantly in windows.

Specs -

Primary: Custom Built

OS: Windows 11 22H2

CPU: Intel i7 9900k

RAM: 32GB 3200Mhz

Hard Drive: Samsung 970 Evo

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti

Secondary: Lenovo ThinkBook 16p Gen 2

OS: Windows 11 22H2

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

RAM: 24GB 3200Mhz

Hard Drive: Samsung 970 Evo

GPU: RTX 3060

I just purchased this program with audio sharing being the main feature that drew me to this solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

And this is not a workable solution for you, yes? There are ways around not hearing from the Sender if that is a problem - plugging in a headset or earbuds for example.

This can be seen when the sender is a laptop where Windows itself will disable audio systems if it can't detect that it has sound (data) to send to audio devices - it's a power-saving feature I suspect.

No, this is not a satisfactory solution. The only reason I purchased this product over other solutions was for it's audio sharing capability, I would like it to work as described. I do not wish to have to carry around an audio cable/adapter or fiddle with bootleg solutions so that the software works as it should. If there is no other solution then I would like to request a refund.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Then I guessed correctly, your Sender is the Laptop you mentioned? It does work as described, Windows just does not like to cooperate on certain systems under certain conditions.

If you would still prefer a refund, you can create a ticket here:
