Dock for website

Has anyone ever managed to create a script to get an object-dock like effect on a website?
Something like this for the navigation icons would look awesome, dont you think?

I remember seeing a flash dock somewhere that was supposed to work like od, but I never downloaded it and tried it. I suppose something like that would work for what your talking about.
