Unable to re-activate Fences after Fences crash

Hello,

I fail to restart Fences after it crashes Windows Explorer.

During a cut/paste operation between 2 folder portals displaying part of my filesystem, Explorer crashed and on restart I got the message : "Fences a detecté qu'Explorer n'a pas été fermé correctement. Par mesure de précaution, Fences a été désactivé temporairement.
pour réactiver Fences, cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur votre bureau et choisissez 'Activez Fences'"

Then when trying to restart Fences I systematically get Explorer to crash then the same message
(trying to activate from desktop background, restarting Fences from start menu, after reboot…)

Any suggestion ?

Thanks in advance !

Best regards,

Thierry

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe that portal fence has been corrupted. It best to restore old Fences layout snapshot which exclude that portal fences. And rebuild your Fences back from there. Or, Update to Fences 4 to have better support on Windows 10 and 11 latest version.

Thanks
