Groupy interferes with OneNote ink selection in full page view

Hi, I encountered a problem when using OneNote with Groupy.

  1. Group two onenote windows in full page view.
  2. Change my pen, for example from black to purple.
  3. Lasso select some ink. If I drag the selection, then some weird behavior happens and I end up resizing the ink rather than moving it.

If I don't use Groupy in full page view, it works. If I use Groupy in normal view, it also works.

I'm using Windows 11 22H2, OneNote 2021 (office 365, not the "OneNote for Windows 10"), Groupy v1.5.

I cannot reproduce what you are describing, but I am also not very familiar with some parts of one note, so I have a video link below to how I was attempting to recreate your issue. Let me know if that is how you were attempting

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply. Are you using a mouse? I tested again and found that using a mouse won't have the problem. However, using a pen does. I'm using the Surface Slim Pen 2.

I found that there're two ways to restore the selection function after changing pen, before this issue is solved.

  1. Switch to another grouped window and back.
  2. Open the notebook navigation menu and close it.
