Start button opens both Start11 and native Windows 11 menu

I should have complained about this on the previous version because it's continued to be a problem, even after the updating to 1.31.

My Start button seems to be split down the middle.  If I click the right side of the button the native Win 11 menu opens.  If I click the left side of the button the Start1 menu opens.  It means I have to be precise with my mouse pointer and it's getting annoying at this point.  I doubt I have anything configured incorrectly.  I can also tell you that I reinstalled Windows 11 for unrelated reasons and the exact same issue happens on the new Win11.

I would like my Start button to only start Start11 wherever I click it.  Please fix this.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you ever try purge and reinstall steps as mention here: [Link]? If not, please try it. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

That's certainly not normal behaviour for Start11!

Can you let us know some more information on your settings please.

Is your start button centred or left aligned?

Are you using a custom start button image and if so what image?

Are you using the option in start11 to enhance the taskbar?

Are you using anything else which might have altered the taskbar in any way?

What scaling factor is your monitor set to?

Finally what build of Windows 11?

Are you sure about that build of Windows?

Thats before Windows 11 release? which is 22000.

If you press win+r and type winver, what does it say?

That is my build number.  Your question got me investigating though, so I installed the 22621.755 version on a VM just to test Start11 and it works fine.  I guess my problems are related to my old Pre-Release version so I'm going to reinstall with the new version.  I'll report back if I have continuing problems but I suspect I won't.

Thanks again for the help.

I am curious as to why you would be using that leaked release of Win11?
