Mouse Cursor hides behind Winows Start Menu and Taskbar Programs(when hovering over), is there a fix for it?

What the Title says, when using Cursor FX on my new PC (did not do that 2 days ago on my old one) the cursor hides behind some windows.

It does NOT do that with the normal windows cursor, only with cursorfx cursors. (does not do it when i click on "Windows Standard" in CursorFX)

Is there a fix? Do i download an older version or redownload it? Any settings i may have (not) enable?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. May I know few more things.

  1. Your Installed CursorFX version.
  2. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need to know its full version number. Use Winver.exe to get it.

Thanks

Hey, i did install the latest version of CursorFX i think, it says Version 2.10

And for Windows it says Version 22H2 (Build 19045.2251) Windows 10 Pro

I hope the info helps to fix it :)

CursorFX V2.x is not the latest CursorFX version. Your issue is known issue when using current version of Windows 10. Would like to suggest you upgrade your CursorFX to the latest version 4.03. https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorfx/

Thank you,

Thanks for the suggestion, i did download the version 4.03 but it says i need to have a product key - but i only want the free version of the program which i used, so now i am going back to the other version - i don't know why it worked with my old pc and now it doesn't because it had the same windows version but i guess i need to live with it if there is no fix on the free version ._.

v2.x does not support Windows 10 or 11 as it is extremely old and will experience issues like this.

Hmm, weird because i had the same version on my "old pc" like 3 days ago and there was no problem with the cursor at all - don't know why it is doing this now ._.
