Sorry you're having a problem. I'm using Fences 4...maybe this can help.

Open the Fences app and first click 1, then click 2 as in my snip:

hi, i just purchased and upgrade fences to 4.0 but the problem still appear I receive the foollowing message and the fences is deactivate  so this is the only way to work. I will try to disinstall the old version and reinstall the new. I hope this solve the problem

Hi, after restalling a new version just purchased of Fences problem still continue to appear. I'm not able to select any icon. The only way to work with the operating system is to deactivate the fences. My windows 10 is regular and updated. Up to now the only solution is to unistall the last veersion of Fences 4.0 Te message appears after rebboting the system is the same. The explorer works well.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

HI , thanks for information. I found a fix, After appear a message below showed, if I close and restart explorer. exec, the product fences works well. I dont know what is the problem. Today after reboot the system the fences seems to working well. I will take you informed. I would like to avoid to disinstall e reinstall the fences because I have to recustomize the desktop again and take more time.

Hi, today unfortutanely the problem appears again, and the only solution is to close and restart explorer exec. I will  disintall and reinstall fences as you suggested.

Hello, 3 days ago I unistalled and reinstalled the Fences 4 following your procedure and the product up to know seems to working well.

Hello, unfortunately, the problem still continue to appears randomly and the only way to solve a problem is to restart  the Explorer exec and time is needed. I have installed the last version 4.0 as you suggested without success . If I start my System with Fences disactivated I have no problem.

I'm thinking to disinstall definitely Fences. Just for your information I have installed Windows 10 Pro 64 bit original and updated at the last level.

Just a question, do you know if there are other users with the same problem with the same configuration?

Hi, sorry but my problem in not the same as described in step #47,I will try to explain. All a day, I start my computer in the morning and put in Power Off in the evening. During this period, the fences working well, but sometime goes in crash alone,w/o message and w/o operation and the icones on the desktop does not work and I'm not able do do any operation untill restart explore.exe as described before. If I start the computer with fences disable the system working well w/o problem every days . I Hope to be clear. It seems that there is something in the system that conflict with the fences.
