Takes over 90 sec's every time I right click within Start 11?

Hello all,

Been trying to contact Stardock support but it seems to be non-existence and has for the past few weeks.

Anyway, when I click Start and search for something then right click to add to Start 11, it literally takes at least 90 sec's every single time.  Even if I try to remove a start menu item, same thing.

I have 1.31 and have uninstalled and reinstalled, same results.

Any ideas since their support has an invalid link.

Thanks all.

This is the proper location for product support

Also, what invalid link for support?

*What version of Windows (winver.exe)?

*Can you post a video of this delay?

EDIT: well this is a bit embarassing! as of right now it works fine for me.

So maybe this will help you. This is my best guess for the steps that fixed it for me.

1. Go to the Start11 installation folder and run Start10Tweak.exe

2. Uncheck both checkboxes, and Click disable Start10service

3. Restart windows

4. Run Start10tweak again, check the boxes and enable Start10 Service

5. Restart Windows again.

6. Now it works.

Feel free to ignore my thesis below.

"I have a similar problem, I'm on windows 10 version 22h2 using the “Windows 10” style on Start11(right now I'm using the 1.34 beta but the problem occurs on 1.31 as well)

The best way I can describe it is that right clicking in start11 makes the start menu slow-done and then freezes. In my case it only hangs for 1-5 seconds, but its a bit annoying. It's kinda like latency issues.

Another strange thing about the context menu is that it seems that the first "submenu" (e.g. "Color" or "Resize") i hover over, often works fine, popping out instantly, but when I move the cursor to the next submenu, it tends to stall.

I recorded a video, it turned out lower quality than expected but it might work anyway.

I've been trying a long time to troubleshoot, turning different features on and off and so on, but it's still the same.

Thank you very much."

Hey Strauss2588,

I'm trying this now and will update everyone shortly.

Hey TPScroggins,

Win 11 v22H2 Build 22621.819

Regardless of browser, when I click the Support tab along the top, it just says Hmm, cannot reach this website.

Thanks guys.

By the way, I've now timed it and it takes exactly 2 minutes before it responds.

Well, I did the tweak but still same results.

Will keep plugging along and try to figure this out.
