Problem Unpinning from Taskbar

When the taskbar is filled and a second row is started, right clicking on an icon on the second row does not give me the option to unpin it. In fact, it doesn't give me any options at all. I have to disable Let Start11 Enhance the Taskbar, at which point I can unpin the icon, following which I have to reenable it. Is this a known issue? Any fix?

Thanks,

Hask

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know, what is your Start11 version? If you not yet using the Start11 V1.34 Beta. Uninstall the current version, reboot immediately, reinstall the Start11 V1.34 Beta, reboot again. Retest and report back.

Use this guide on how to get the V1.34 Beta : https://forums.stardock.com/515472

Thanks.

Hi. Thank you for your speedy response. I followed your instructions and now have the Beta installed. However, I still have the same problem. When I right click on an icon on the second row of the taskbar (the overflow row), I do not get any options, including the one I am looking for, unpin from taskbar.

Hello,

I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Below a video I made showing I can unpin and repin my taskbar icons on the second row.

Would like to see what it look like on your system. Post a video on that issue so we can understand it better.

I am having problems attaching the video but here is an iCloud link.

share.icloud.com

If that doesn't work let me know and I will type in the full link.

As you can see, when I right click on items on the first taskbar row, I get the full context menus as expected. However, on the second row, when I do that, nothing happens. I can start the programs by left clicking but without being able to get a context menu, I can not delete the icons.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the video. Need information on your system.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version numbers. Use Winver.exe to get it.
  2. Your Start11 version number.
  3. Monitor resolution and scaling applied. (100%,125%,150% etc)

Thank you,

 Windows 11 version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.963)

Start 11 version 1.36

Display resolution 125% (but I have the same problem at 100%)

Thanks for your help.

I’m having problems doing that. When I go to this forum and click the link, the video plays. Aren’t you able to see it?
