Folder portal - shortcuts disappear until manual refresh

Sometimes this happens:

Icons reappear partially when I hover the cursor over them. If I do that slowly, they all reappear eventually. If I manually refresh (RMB on portal -> refresh or just F5), all of them reappear at once.

Running the Windows 10 calculator from this portal used to cause this. It's very inconsistent, though. Sometimes it triggers the glitch, sometimes it doesn't.

Things that may or may not have something to do with this problem:

- monitor refresh rate (144Hz)
- monitor set to reference mode (Nvidia control panel -> Display -> Adjust desktop color settings)
- Steelseries mouse with SS software and driver (polling rate?)
- source folder is located in Program Files (x86) (random permissions problem?)

I'm using Fences 4.07.02 and it happened in previous versions as well (3.0.9 and 4.0)

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

  1. You on Windows 10/11 version? Use Winver.exe to get full version numbers.
  2. Monitors Resolution setting and Scaling factor. (100%,125%,150%?)

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
