Start11 possible bug

Every once in a while the taskbar essentially seems to reset since I've installed Start11. All the tabs and so on disappear for a few seconds and then get redrawn the same as when I first bootup. I can't see to find any apparent reason but it is visually pretty annoying to see all the tabs in the taskbar disappear and reappear a few seconds later. Happens at least once an hour, sometimes every 15-20 minutes.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version number, please use Winver.exe to get it.
  2. Need Start11 version numbers too please.

Hi Basj,

Please find the additional information below:

  • On Windows 11 Pro. Specifically 22H2 (build 22621.675)
  • Start11 version 1.31

And FYI it has been happening for several windows update and at least since version 1.30 of Start11. Almost since I initially purchased it to be quite honest.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Does it happen in the Sandbox? if not, it shows there something else is causing the issue on your original system.
