Win11 / Start11 - Taskbar add Folder?

Taskbar Folder

Just updated to Win11 and installed Start11, which I had researched prior to the update and is a teriffic App. Question, in Windows 10 I had pinned a couple folders containing Apps in the Taskbar. Is there any way to do the same in Win11 with Start11 installed? I didn't try without Start11 since it was the first thing I installed after the update. Searching this issue it appears Win11 may have this feature but I can't get it to work. For reference, when I open one of these folders and it's icon is in the Taskbar, it has the option to 'unpin from Taskbar', so it seems like it should be pinned but when I close it the folder is no longer visible with an arrow symbol to open as with Win 10.

Hello,
Can you layout the steps to pin those folders in Windows 10? I was trying to pin a folder in Windows 10 via File Explorer. But that don't work. I need to know your steps and see if that is possible in Windows 10 and Windows 11. As far from what I can test it also don't work in Windows 10. Unless you pinned a batch file instead: Something like this: https://windowsloop.com/batch-script-file-to-open-multiple-folders/ . This I believe should also work in Windows 11.

Thanks

Thanks for your response. I couldn't remember all the steps, so I researched this and found the accurate description is 'Quick Launch Toolbar' which was an option to add to a Toolbar in Windows 10 but has been removed from Windows 11 (along with most all of the 'useful' features Windows 10 had). On my prior Toolbar, I had added these 'toolbars' with a target being a folder with Apps in it for quick access. This article discusses this feature; https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/bring-back-toolbars-in-windows-11-taskbar/64010a24-482b-4953-bcd4-2a4dd5cf5da9. Through this research I found another patch called 'Explorer Patcher' I might try if you think it won't interfere with Start11, which has been great BTW. https://thegeekpage.com/how-to-add-quick-launch-toolbar-to-taskbar-in-windows-11/#:~:text=Again%2C%20right-click%20on%20your,then%20hit%20the%20Enter%20key.

One thing I am noticing using Start11 for a full day, sometimes the Taskbar icon doesn't match the label or App it's linked to. To correct, the solution I've found is to open Start11 / Taskbar / and restart Explorer. Is this a bug you are aware of?
