missing important features

Taskbar close only right clicked button - close all button, show all icons in taskbar corner button.

Hello I have 2 big wishes for start menu,

1- close all button is really not working for me. I use never combine apps in taskbar (all app is a button in the taskbar). Then for example I have 3 excel's open, differently. I can't close them with right click and close. So I would like to see close only the right clicked window. (not close all windows but close only right clicked one button just like xp,win7,win10 so on)

2- taskbar corner icons, I would like to see all icons always. but every time I install a new program, I need to enter and pick one by one show that icon on taskbar corner. So Show all icons option would be nice to have.

It would be really nice to see those thank you. I would appreciate if you take these to roadmap.

Basj, is there an update about getting that context menu to close that specific instance / taskbar item instead of ALL of them?

I'm a prospective purchaser with a bunch of monitors. I've been using Classic Shell since Win8.1. I want a basic start menu w/search and the basic functionality of taskbar mgmt in Win7/8/10. I want to see all apps on one monitor, with rest having only the app on that screen and the ability to close that specific app by a basic right click. I also want to pin to both the taskbar and start menu.

I came across this Start11 app and will be more than willing to throw my $$$ if it works. The *ONLY* issue preventing me from buying this is right clicking the taskbar app only gives me the option to close all app windows. It does not give me the option to only close that specific instance.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS PERFECT!!! I'm presently looking to see if there's some registry hack that allows this. If I find it, I'll probably upgrade today and use Windows 11. lol, I have my fellow analyst work buddies waiting on my nerdy findings.

Basj, could you be so kind to message here if with any update on Stardock's development on this feature request?

+1 on 2nd point.

I need every single icon displayed on the corner.

About 1st point:

I don't want a "close all button", I want a "close current window" button. I never group applications and when I want to close one window, it should be the one I mean, not all window.

I have found a StartMenu + Taskbar app called StartAllBack which allows one to just close that specific instance of an app. I successfully tested this out in both a VM of Windows 11 and on my wife's work PC. It also allowed me to install it on her PC w/o requiring administrative privileges, which was a huge boon (because she doesn't have admin).

I'm going to use this product because I'd like to switch to Win11 now and not have to wait for a response from Stardock that may never come. Hopefully they develop this feature and I'll have two options, in case a future Win11 update breaks functionality.

Good luck!
