"Pin to Start" used to work before the 22H2 Windows 11 update but no longer does.
I have to go to "Show more options" > "Pin to Start 11" in order to pin stuff now.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But. Start11 Ver 1.26 Beta will be available really soon. Try that version once available and report back.
Note: Start11 V1.26 Beta just released few minutes ago.

start 11 is working fine on 22H2 off the release channel for me. Are you on the beta channel?
Which version of Start11 are you using?
This isn't normal or expected.
I'm using version 1.25 downloaded from steam. Windows version is 22621.521
I just did a fresh reinstall of the steam version and of the 1.27 beta version, same problem with both of them. Selecting "Pin to Start" in the context menu won't pin the icon to Start11 menu. "Syncronize pinned items from the OS menu with Start11" option is enabled.
Was Start11 tested with 22H2 windows 11 update?
Need to use "Pin to Start11" to work on Start11. Refer to screenshot below.
