Fences Folder Portals and One Drive

Folder Portal Issue

I'm running Fences 4.0.7.2

I created a Folder Portal on the desktop to a Dropbox Folder and have it set to roll up the fence.  About every week,

One Drive dumps the files in the root of that folder onto my desktop.  One Drive thinks the folder portal files are on the desktop.

I had to delete the folder portal to stop it.

Folder portals don't 'do' anything - meaning, they do not perform actions, they just render what's in whatever directory you point them to.

I should note that the PC 'desktop' and a OneDrive 'desktop' are generally not in the same location. 

For example, the PC desktop is:

C:\Users\[yourWindowsAccountName]\Desktop

OneDrive would be:

C:\Users\[yourWindowsAccountName]\OneDrive - [whatever you have it named]\Desktop

Thanks for the reply.  I understand the confusion because it took me some time to figure it out.  Best I can tell, the folder portal to a folder in dropbox is being automatically synced as desktop files by one drive (the files in the root of that portal-ed folder).  When it refreshes my desktop from one drive, it drops the files onto the desktop as files the next time it refreshes (which seems to be weekly) and I end up with an additional 20 files or so on the desktop.  Since I deleted the folder portal, it hasn't happened, but giving it a few more weeks to be sure that was the problem makes sense.  Let me give it til 2H Sep and I will report back.
