Fences 4 crashes

23 August Update crashes

from Stardock Forums

was prompted to update the latest Fence 4.
then followed by a reboot.

after reboot, my desktop was blank. icons all missing.
double clicking didnt make the icons reappear.

2nd reboot, it crashes windows.

3rd reboot. uninstall Fence. Manage to get back.
icons on desktop still missing. Then I download and installed Fences 3.

All back to normal.

What happen to fences 4?

Using windows 10 pro. 64bit.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
