Unable to Click Existing Running Apps in the Taskbar

When trying to click a running program in the taskbar to switch to it, I get no response.  There is no visual indicator as I hover over the app as their typically would be.  And clicking the running app doesn't do anything.  I have to click on the start menu button which then re-enables my ability to click on a running application to switch to it.  This doesn't happen every time and is completely random.  I'd say it probably happens a dozen times a day during an 8 hour work day.  If you have any suggestions on how to mitigate this please let me know.

By the way, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled twice.  The second time was with direction from support to use a cleanup script before reinstalling.  So please don't suggest a reinstallation; it won't help.  https://forums.stardock.com/513627/start11-opening-blank-office-application-windows

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Full numbered version of Windows ?  ( use winver.exe for that )

Version of Start11 ?

AzDude - I'm running Windows 10 OS Build 19044.1826 with the latest version of Start11 which is reporting 1.25.

basj - I'm an IT domain administrator for my company.  But logging into a system and using it actively with an administrative account is prohibited.  And honestly, this probably is secondary to the other problem I reported in my link and just isn't worth the trouble of having to setup a completely different desktop to work from.  If I have this issue on my personal Windows 11 machine I may give this a try but I haven't had these same issues in Windows 11 running as an administrator.
