Slow Icon movement.

Fences is causing desktop items to move slowly
Grabbing an item seems fine but on moving it takes about 3 seconds for the icon to complete the move, in the mean time it shows as in both places and is not interactive.

This is a first time install of Fences, (though there are a lot of icons)

Running.
Windows 10 pro 10.0.19043 build 19043
Fences 4.10

Geforce 1080ti  (I have tried disabling the geforce overlay)

Primary monitor: Ultrawide, 3440x1440
Secondary monitor: 4k Portrait 2160x3840  (I've tried disabling this monitor)
My desktop is extended across both monitors with the secondary on the right lined up so the bottom of both windows match. 

Nothing I've tried seems to fix this. (short of an uninstall)

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Try un installing Fences Reboot and re install the latest version from your

product page here https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot , test and report back please .

Hmm don't know why I thought it was fences 4.10 during uninstall it showed 4.0.3.

Ok so the problem continued during after I had uninstalled fences.

I deleted the icon cache and moved all the desktop icons to a single subfolder.  

This seems to have solved the slowness issue that started on the install of fences... (to be fair I changed my monitors out for new ones right before I installed fences, this moved all my desktop icons to weird places, but I was rearranging them without issue before I installed fences, I was installing fences so my icons would never again go to weird locations on me.)

There seemed to be some kind of issue during the move process it took forever to complete and I now have some extra shortcuts which I'm not sure how they came about (all in the new subfolder..)  I'm going to delete the new shortcuts from the subfolder and reinstall fences I will then attempt to move Icons from the sub folder back into fences.  Presuming that installing fences does not trigger this off again.

So far so good, my icons are performing normally, after the reinstall I will have to move them back slowly, going to sleep now. 

I'm using the trial version so your download link appears not to work for me.
