It is functioning properly on my machines, What version of Start11 are you running?

Which style are you using?

What are you expecting to happen when you press WIN + 1.  I just want to make sure we are on the same page

Mine opens Explorer as that is my first pinned item on the task bar

I don't have anything pinned to the taskbar, but I have active processes, for example Calculator. I press Win + 1, and in theory a window with a Calculator should open, but the Explorer starts.

I have unpinned my taskbar items, and it is functioning the way as you expected for me. The only time I got explorer to open when when I used WIN + (number that is after the last running application)

You might want to uninstall STart11, reboot, and reinstall and see if you continue to have the issue with explorer popping

Sometimes the second window opens by pressing Win +3, the third window by pressing Win+4, and Win +5 does nothing at all, and so on. Tell me, is it possible to normalize the work of Start11 without having pinned programs?
