hello,
every few times comes the whole content of the folder
C:\Users***AppData\Roaming\Stardock\S10
again in my menu. is there a way to prevent this?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Are you referring to those universal applications? IF yes, you can set so all Universal application to appear inside a common folder.

yes, that already helps, now the list is gone and there is a folder with all this stuff in it. but is it possible to hide the folder too? i don't need anything of that stuff.
I believe there is no option build in to totally remove them. There might be a way but I cannot be sure. Anyway, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

If you open regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8
and then create a value of type String called HideMetroApps and give it a value of 1 and sign out you should find all the universal apps go away.
Be aware that this means they will not show in search either and you may find this limiting given how more apps are store provided now.
