Start 11 & double height taskbar (bottom located taskbar)

Bottom of full sized window covered by taskbar

I have a double height task bar. When I expand a window to full size, the taskbar covers the bottom of the window. This does not happen if the taskbar is single height.

If you restore and maximize the window again does it then respect the space reserved for the taskbar?

I'm having the same problem with the Taskbar is set to medium size.

I'm using Start 11 v. 1.24.  Windows 11 Pro.

If you resize the bar to say three rows and back to two do you then find windows maximize correctly?

What do you mean resize to three rows.   The only size setting I see for the taskbar are: small, medium, and large (which changes the size of the icons on the taskbar.)  Changing the size back and forth does not cure the problem.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I assume you have turn on Enhance taskbar. If you do, and you hover your mouse over the edge of the taskbar, your mouse will change to resize mouse pointer. You can than click and drag to size up your taskbar to more rows.

Thanks

Are you using any other tools which might impact reserved space on the screen such as ObjectDock, UltraMon, Displayfusion or any other dock like app?

Update: This issue is true for external monitors not my laptop screen. And it is true for any app moved to full screen.
