ObjectDock problems (Always on Top, Clock, and iCal plugin)
from
WinCustomize Forums
Hey everyone, I just joined the forums. I've been coming here for a while though, very awesome site.
Anyway, I'm having a few problems with Object Dock (even though this forum is more for the plugins and things, I was hoping someone might have some answers). I've also looked through the forum already, and have seen a couple posts about the clock problem, but couldn't find any info. on the other 2.
First of all is the Always on Top problem. When I set ObjectDock to Always on Top, it stays on top of other windows for a while (possibly an hour at the most), and then I go to use it and find out that it's not on top anymore. The option is still checked in the OD settings/menu, but it won't stay on top. If I uncheck and recheck it, it works again - for a little while. I also made a little program to load OD and set it to On Top status via APIs, but it still falls behind other windows after awhile.
Secondly, the clock stops after a while (mine still shows Sat. the 25th, 10:50 when it's actually Sun. the 26th, 9:25. If I remove it and add a new clock, it works for awhile but stops again. The problem I'm having with iCal is the same - it's stuck at Oct. 25.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix these problems, or maybe another messageboard/site you can point me to, I'd really appreciate it. Sorry for the long post, and thanks again.
