Taskbar moved to the left and can't put it back to center in "Taskbar settings"

since update before the last update

Like in the title.

Windows 11 lets me have the taskbar icons in the middle (center). But now I can't have the taskbar like that anymore. I can set it on "center" but it automatically switches back to "left".

I did the same adjustment in the registry editor and changed the key value to "1" and you can see it jumping back to "0".

Very, very annoying:sheep: . Anyone?

What has happened is you must have enabled the enhanced taskbar option which is new in 1.2 and higher.

As noted when you are asked if you want to enable it, this prevents a centred start button.

You can have your taskbar buttons centred but your start button left aligned if you wish via the more start11 taskbar settings button, or you can disable the Let Start11 enhance the taskbar setting and then you can set things to centred.
