ONENOTE FOR WINDOWS 10 ON TASKBAR CALLS UP FILE EXPLORER

TASKBAR ICONS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

On one of my machines, a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5, the icon for OneNote for Windows 10 on the taskbar, brings up the file explorer, not OneNote.   This problem does not occur with the icon on the Start menu itself.   I uninstalled and reinstalled Stardock11, and the taskbar problem remained.  I do not have this issue on my Surface Pro 6, or Surface Pro 8.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You on Windows 10, yes? Can you post the full version numbers for your Windows, use Winver.exe to get those. Also, you on Start11 or Start10? And its version numbers please.

And how do you the pin OneNote to your taskbar?

Thanks

Hi. My system is windows 11, using Stardock 11 to have a windows 10 start screen.  I pin to the taskbar by right clicking the OneNote for Windows 10 icon from the all apps list, or from the pinned OneNote for Windows 10 pinned to the start menu.  Same result.

Windows 11 v. 22H2 (OS Build 22598.200)

Thanks!

You on Insider Preview version of Windows, which we don't support. But, if you not yet running latest Start11 V1.22 Beta. Please try those. Make sure to uninstall your current version first, reboot. Than install the V1.22 Beta. You should be able to download it from your account page.

Note : There is no product Name Stardock 11. Its Start11.

Thank you,
